Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Shoorts. JOLUDA ("JOLUDA", "we", "us", "our") operates Shoorts, available at shoorts.ai (the "Service").

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) What Shoorts does

Shoorts is an AI-powered platform that helps you generate short-form videos and related assets such as scripts, voiceovers, images, and animations. AI outputs can be imperfect or non-unique and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for your use of any outputs, including compliance with law, platform rules, and third-party rights. We do not provide legal, regulatory, or advertising compliance advice. Review outputs before use.

2) Eligibility, accounts, and security

You must be at least the minimum age required by your country to use online services; where required, a parent/guardian must consent to a minor's use. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization. Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us of any suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3) Subscriptions, credits, pricing, refunds

Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless you cancel in your account before renewal. Plans include monthly generation credits. Credits roll over while your paid subscription remains active. Credits do not roll over on the free tier. If you cancel, unused credits expire at the end of your current billing cycle. We may offer free trials or free credits and may change or withdraw them at any time. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before renewal. All subscriptions are non-refundable. If you experience technical issues or problems with the usage of Shoorts, please contact our support team at contact@shoorts.ai and we will help you. For EU consumers: By using Shoorts, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you will lose your right to the 14-day withdrawal period provided under EU consumer protection laws once you begin using the Service. Failed or reversed charges may result in suspension or downgrade until resolved.

4) Ownership: your Inputs and your Outputs

You retain ownership of text, images, audio, video, data, prompts, and other material you upload or provide ("Inputs"). As between you and JOLUDA, you own the assets generated for you through the Service ("Outputs"). We do not guarantee uniqueness of Outputs, as similar prompts can produce similar results for different users. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, process, transcode, and display Inputs and Outputs solely to provide and support the Service, comply with law, and maintain security. With your explicit opt-in, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display selected content as examples or showcases; you can revoke this at any time by contacting support.

5) Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

Violate law, infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or image rights, or mislead others about the origin of synthetic media. Generate, upload, or share illegal content, including CSAM, non-consensual sexual content, or content that unlawfully incites violence or hatred. Impersonate a person or brand; engage in scams, malware, or security violations; reverse-engineer or bypass usage limits; or train/fine-tune models using our Outputs without our written consent. Breach sanctions or export-control laws. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches and may remove unlawful content or report it where required.

6) Model and provider use of data (transparency)

We and third-party AI providers process Inputs and Outputs to operate, secure, and improve the Service and underlying models. These providers may use data for training or service improvement under their own policies. Do not input confidential or sensitive information you do not want processed in this way. 7) Service availability, changes, and support

We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. The Service may be unavailable from time to time. To ensure a smooth experience for all users, Shoorts may include usage limits during high demand. These limits may vary based on system conditions. Support is provided via contact@shoorts.ai.

8) Deletion, retention, and export

You may delete your account at any time (in-app or by contacting support). Deleting your account deletes associated projects and personal data from active systems, subject to reasonable backups, fraud prevention, and legal retention obligations. Export any content you need before deletion or plan expiry.

9) Notice of alleged infringement

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your rights, email contact@shoorts.ai with: (i) your contact details; (ii) the content/URL at issue; (iii) the rights you claim and evidence of ownership/authority; (iv) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; and (v) your electronic signature. We may remove or restrict access to the content and notify the user. Submitting false notices may have legal consequences.

10) Data protection (summary)

For account, billing, and service administration data, JOLUDA is the controller. For personal data you upload or process within projects on behalf of your organization, JOLUDA acts as a processor and processes such data only to provide the Service and on your instructions. We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. See our Privacy Policy for more detail, including international transfers and your privacy rights.

11) Warranties and disclaimers

Except where prohibited by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability (or €0 for free users). This does not exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is unlawful.

13) Indemnity (business users)

If you use the Service for business, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JOLUDA and its officers, employees, and suppliers from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your Inputs/Outputs or use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of law or third-party rights.

14) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, pose a security/abuse risk, fail to pay, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections intended to survive termination survive.

15) Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to update and change these Terms at any time without notice, except for material changes where we will notify you in advance by email. The updated Terms apply on the stated effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
