This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use Shoorts. JOLUDA ("JOLUDA", "we", "us", "our") operates Shoorts, available at shoorts.ai (the "Service").
By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Who we are & how to contact us
JOLUDA is the data controller for your personal information.

2) What we collect
Account & billing: name, email, password (hashed), country, plan, invoices/transactions (via our payment provider).
Content: prompts/inputs you upload (text, image, audio, video) and the outputs we generate.
Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, logs, crash data, approximate location (from IP), cookie IDs.
Usage data: features used, credits consumed, timestamps, settings.
Communications: messages you send us (support, feedback, surveys).
Please don't upload special-category data (health, biometrics, union status, etc.) or others' personal data unless you have a lawful basis.
3) Why we use your data
Provide the Service & account (contract).
Process payments & prevent fraud (contract/legal obligation/legitimate interests).
Operate, secure, and improve features, performance, and safety (legitimate interests).
Customer support & service communications (contract/legitimate interests).
Marketing emails where permitted (consent or soft opt-in; you can unsubscribe anytime).
Comply with law (legal obligation).
4) AI providers and your content
We use third-party AI services to generate outputs. Inputs and outputs may be sent to those providers. Some providers may use data to improve or train their services under their own policies.
Do not submit confidential or sensitive information you do not want processed this way.
5) Sharing your data
We share personal data only as needed to run Shoorts:
Service providers (processors): cloud hosting, AI engines, analytics, email, customer support, payment processing.
Legal: to comply with laws, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety.
We don't sell personal data.
6) Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar tech for login, security, and analytics. You can manage non-essential cookies in your browser and (where required) via our cookie banner.
7) Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it (account records may be kept longer for tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations; backups are time-limited).
8) Security
We use technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, logging). No system is 100% secure.
9) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, port data, and withdraw consent (for marketing).
EU/UK: you can also complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information.

11) Children
Shoorts is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a minor provided personal data, contact us to remove it. Where local law requires parental consent for minors, you must obtain it before use.
12) Account controls & deletion
You can delete your account in-app or by contacting support. Deleting your account deletes associated projects and personal data from active systems, subject to lawful retention and backups.
13) Changes
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and, where required, notify you by email. The "Effective date" shows when this Policy last changed.
